Why should you care?
Peaker plants produce gasses such as sulfur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, and particulate matter. Biodiversity is significantly damaged by peaker plants, high amounts of pollutants cause issues such as damaged plant life. And issues for all organisms. Not only can these pollutants hurt the environment they can also hurt human health. Causing issues such as cancer, asthma, birth defects, and much more.

In order to prevent Peaker Plants from capitalizing on the peak hours of the day the best thing we can do is limit power usage during those times.
